Bent Not Broken

Pain and Suffering, Poetry
by Daniel Blodgett

Like a tree cracked in a gale

Spine useless, no longer hale

Laying flat, in a drug haze

Unable to fathom the ways

and paths coming to me

Asking why me? – knowing Why not me?
